Although braces are an effective way of achieving a healthy smile, they can also make it harder to brush your teeth thoroughly. Here are some things worth keeping in mind.
- Use an interdental brush in addition to your regular toothbrush.
- Floss underneath the braces wires using a floss threader.
- Always brush downwards at a 45-degree angle to make sure you reach every corner.
Your dentist can offer additional advice on how to care for your teeth while wearing braces. If you are based in Christchurch or Bournemouth in Dorset, contact Robinson’s Dental Practice to see how we can help.
