One happy lady

This lovely young lady wanted us to improve the appearance of her teeth. She broke her front tooth when she was 12 years old whilst on holiday in France. Although the dentist did a great job at the time (because in Elspeth’s own words she wasn’t a very co-operative patient), she noticed it gradually becoming darker.

Whilst there are always many ways to approach a case like this, Elspeth was keen to save the tooth if possible. So we came up with a conservative approach which involved the services of three different members of our team.

Karina Romero re-did the root canal treatment to ensure the tooth was infection-free and properly sealed. Then Simon Robinson bleached the inside of the dark tooth as well as the rest of Elspeth’s teeth to brighten them up and give them a similar colour.

For the final stage, Kate Robinson replaced the old filling and filled in the small gap between the front teeth.

Elspeth was delighted with the final result and went out with a big smile on her face!
