New beginnings
When we opened for business in Castle Street in 1992 Barcelona were hosting the Olympic games, the first ever SMS text message was sent and petrol was £2.13 per gallon! Things were certainly different back in 1992 both generally and within the dental profession.
25 years on and we have long since outgrown our premises but finding somewhere suitable to move to that still kept us within Christchurch town centre has proved very challenging.
Finally, in July last year Bow House came on the market. Simon has walked past this iconic High St building twice a day for the past 25 years thinking to himself ‘that would make a great location for a dental practice!’ so of course he went straight in to get the details… the rest, as they say, is history.
As we approach the autumn of 2017 the builders have been swarming over the building like worker ants striving to create a state of the art 21st century dental practice within the restrictive charms of an 18th century building.
As the photos show, Bow House had been sadly neglected in recent years and it has taken a great deal of work to repair and restore the key features but soon all will be revealed and we look forward to continuing to provide our longstanding brand of quality care and service from our new home very soon.
