Our Own Orthodontist, Undergoing Aligners Treatment

We’re delighted to share a case study of one of our own dentists, Kate Robinson, who is currently using clear aligners to straighten her teeth.

Kate, who is an orthodontist at Robinson’s Dental Practice, helps to transform people’s teeth and smiles everyday. But, this time, she has decided it’s time for a smile transformation of her own.

Clear aligners, one of the biggest developments in orthodontics in recent years, are a discreet treatment option used to straighten your teeth. They can also help to correct issues with your bite and jaw.

Also known as invisible braces, aligners are made with clear plastic material that are completely tailored to your teeth requirements. We use advanced dental technology to allow us to determine your treatment plan, so you will have an idea of how long you may need to wear the teeth aligners.

Since beginning her own treatment for aligners, Kate wanted to share her insights of the process so far…

“Going through treatment for clear aligners has definitely modified my approach with patients. I can be much more informative on what they can expect now that I am experiencing it for myself.

So far, I have found the inconvenience of these invisible braces to be very minor. I find the attachments on my teeth a little annoying, but, that’s just an added incentive not to forget to put the aligners back in!”

Our specialist orthodontists keep track of your progress, monitoring your teeth straightening. Aligners are popular amongst our patients, being that they are easy to wear and can be worn with confidence since they are so discreet to the eye.
